Where do I go to lodge my own BAS?

Accessing the correct portal to lodge your own BAS is actually quite straightforward once you know where to look. Read on to figure it out.

First you need to create a myGovID. To do so, you go here. We recommend that you follow through to provide all your ID documents to qualify for 'standard identity strength'.  If you stay with 'basic identity strength' you will find yourself limited in accessing some Government services.

Next you proceed to the Australian Government's Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM), by clicking here.  This is where you link your myGovID to your business. If you find the list of possibilities here a bit overwhelming or confusing, please make contact with us to discuss.

Once you've taken those steps, you can proceed to the ATO portal for Online Services for Business, by clicking here. You should see your BAS here, ready for lodgment.
